Jodie Hope — Funeral Director, Human Resources Manager
Jodie never thought she would end up working in the mortuary of Hope and Sons but as she grew up seeing the impact her parents, and others at Hopes, had on people she realised she wanted the responsibilty to guide people through some of their toughest times. Jodie takes pride in being part of her family business, she has followed the steps of her great-great grandfather who started the firm and she feels very priviliged to be in the funeral industry.
Jodie holds her Diploma in Business, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management - double majoring in Human Resource Managment and Event Management. Jodie is empathetic and a problem solver, she can make decisions quickly and she is tech-savvy. She has high standards and will do as much as she can to make sure everything runs smoothly.
In her spare time she likes to play basketball and netball competitively and socially. Jodie enjoys socialising with her friends and family and going on adventures or road trips. Travelling is something Jodie really appreciates and she tries to go some place new at least once a year.
