Chestnut Villa
The Chestnut Villa funeral home is a beautifully restored historic kauri villa dating back to the late 1800's.
The Villa will be utilised for some small gatherings but would be limited to about 30 patrons - as size dictates. This will suit many smaller families, and those travelling families from afar with no local base.
The Chestnut Room is an intimate area that you can use as you want. Set up with occasional chairs, standing or sitting space, sit in a circle, make it informal, or create a small chapel. This space is totally customisable and your funeral director will be able to recommend the best option for the way you wish to use the space.

Seating Options
The Garden Lounge is provided for spending time together, sharing a cuppa and a nibble. All catering can be supplied from our Hope and Sons catering selections.

The garden lounge has great indoor outdoor flow, with access to the large deck in a private garden setting, Dunedin weather permitting have your remembering time outside, or come and go as you please.
