Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home, on September 9, 2024; aged 75 years.
Dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Kirsteen McLay and Chris Knopp, Glenn McLay and Bryna Foster, dearly loved Nana of Joe, Ben, Simon, Skyla, and Maadison. Loved 'Big Sis' and sister-in-law of Sandy and Brent Ward, Margaret and Paul Kenny (Australia), Marie* and Ivan*, Carol and Bob, Janice and Andrew, loved Aunty of Josie and Audrey, Kerry and Dan, Gemma and Andrew, Jada and Andrew, Lewis and Jan, Colin and Carey, Grant and Rebecca, Linley and Alex, Adrienne and Dave, Cameron and Jane, and their families. Long time friend of Robin and Janette McLay (Melbourne).

A service to celebrate Gwennyth's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andresons Bay Road, at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 17, followed by private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service or below.
