ASHTON, Peter William (Pete)
On August 12, 2025, at the Otago Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family; 76 years young. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of the late Verena, loved and loving Dad of Penny and Greg Easton, Sarah, Chris and Ria, AJ and Stef, adored and proud Grandad Pete (GDP) to Harry, Joe, and Benji; Cooper, and Alfie; and Teddy, loved youngest son of the late Albert and Mavis. Loved little brother and brother-in-law of Paula* and Leith* Turner, Phil* and Clarice*, Bob* and Win*, Keith* and Helen, Glenda and Jim Butler, loved uncle to his nieces and nephews and friend to many. A service to celebrate Pete's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11am, on Monday August 18, followed by private cremation. Messages to 27 Passmore Crescent, Maori Hill 9010, or below.
