Peacefully, on August 25, 2026, surrounded by family; aged 83 years.
Son of Bob and Connie, loved husband of Linda, father and stepfather of Robert and Lisa, Janette, Tony and Kate; Scott and Debbie Leckie, and Karen Leckie. Brother to Graeme, Tony, Liz, Chris, David and their partners. Grandad to nine grandchildren and great-grandad to fourteen great-grandchildren.

He will be missed

A farewell for Colin will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 2.00pm on Monday August 31, followed by private cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation would be appreciated and may be left on the link below.  Messages to The Begg Family, C/- Po Box 5013, Dunedin 9054.
