DONALDSON, Catherine Colquhoun (Cath, nee Peck) -
On Sunday, September 21, 2025, peacefully at home, with her family; aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife, business partner and travel companion of the late Lex for 71 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Michelle (Dunedin), Katrina and Mike Kreft (Wanaka), and Claire (Auckland), inspirational and much loved gran of Hadley (Dunedin), Corin and Charlie (UK), Leith and Lucy (Australia), Lee and Nic Fisher, Keighley and Michael Cockroft (Dunedin), Rebecca and Adam Hawkins (Wanaka), Brad and Grace Kreft (Greytown), Byron and Ksenia Clark and Conrad Clark (Auckland), proud great-grandmother of Jodie-Anne, Flynn, and Alfie; Lottie, and Louie; Lyla; Lia, Gracie, and Harper; Freddie, and Ellie; Ollie, Marley, and Fletch; and Demi.
A special thank you to Cath's carers and the Hospice team.
A celebration of Cath's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11:00am, on Monday, September 29, followed by private cremation. Please dress in bright colours. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
