On August 16, 2026, peacefully at St Andrews Home and Hospital; aged 84 years.
Much loved husband of the late Marilyn, loved Dad and father-in-law of Simon and Aileen, and the late Nancy, Bernard and Isobel, dearly loved 'Popps' and Grandad of Caleb, and Josh; and Briana.  Loved brother and brother-in-law of Anne and Graeme, Kevin and Mary, and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate John's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11.00am on Thursday August 20, followed by private cremation. 
In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
