On November 19, 2025, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital surrounded by his loving family; aged 76 years. Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Denis, Melina and Simon, Larisa and Mike, loving Goong Goong of Timothy, and Benjamin; Isabella, and Oscar, loved former husband of Jean.
Loved eldest son of the late Eric and Lillian, loved brother and brother-in-law of Daniel and Debbie, Virginia, Joyce and Michael, Annette and Al, and loved uncle of James, Sigourney, Nicholas, and Benjamin.
A Service to celebrate Hong's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11am, on Wednesday, November 26, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left below, where there is a link for the livestream also.
