Passed peacefully on August 31, 2024, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer's. Loved son of the late Wikitoria Grennell (nee Pomare) and Phillip Grennell, treasured husband and bestfriend of Noelene, honoured and loved father and father-in-law to Diane and Witi, Peter and Caroline, Niki and Matthew. Grandad to 6, great-grandad to 12, great-great-grandad to 3, he was special to them, and they were all very loved by him.

A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 1 Scotia Street, Port Chalmers, at 1:00pm, on Thursday, September 5, the funeral then leaving to Port Chalmers Cemetery. Messages can be left on Dennis' page below, where you can find a link to livestream the service.
