HANAN, Dame Elizabeth Ann D.N.Z.M, CRSNZ
-- On October 13, 2024, at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by family; aged 87 years. Much loved wife of the late Murray for 55 years, beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dave Hanan and Jill Rutherford, Alison Hanan and Paul Gillespie (London), and Jude (Bangkok), proud and loving Nana of Alex, Jack, and Jesse; and Luca, and Rosa Gillespie (London), loved sister of John Walsh (Sydney), Jennifer Scott (Auckland), and the late Patricia Holborrow (Wellington), loved aunty of her nieces and nephews, and a loved eldest daughter of Sir John and Lady Enid Walsh.
-- A funeral service will be held in St Paul's Cathedral, The Octagon, Dunedin at 11.00am on Saturday October 19, followed by private cremation.
No flowers by request.
