HOLT, Dennis James (Holty)
Peacefully, after a hard fought battle, on July 28, 2025, at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by family; aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Bev, proud father and father-in-law of Candice and Shea, Leon and Danielle, granddad of Bailey, Harry, Eli, Finley. Loved son of Annie and James, loved brother and brother-in-law of Terry and Rachael*, Leon*, and Mike and Jessie; Lindsay*, Rob and Janet, Rosemary, Anne-Marie and Ken, Debbie and Greg, loved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Thank you to Dr Fionnuala Fagan and the Oncolgy Department, also the Port Chalmers FENZ for their care.
A celebration of Dennis' life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2pm, on Monday August 4, followed by private cremation. Messages to 1A Glendermid Close, Sawyers Bay, 9023 or on Dennis' page at www.hopeandsons.co.nz where you can access the livestream.
