It was a privilege to care for you and be a part of your journey. You may no longer be with us, but you will always hold a special place in my heart. It was more than just my job to care for you; it was about showing kindness, love, compassion, and respect. I hope you knew how much you mattered and how much you were cared for. Thank you for the moments we shared and the memories you leave behind. Although saying goodbye is never easy, I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to care for you. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Rest in peace dear Hans.

There are some people you remember for what they say, and some you remember for what you see in them. With Hans, I will always remember his blue eyes, and the love in them when he looked at his family. That look said everything. What I saw in him was courage. Real courage. The kind that doesn't need an audience. Even when his body was tired and every day asked more of him, he met it with bravery and grace. He didn't complain. He didn't give in. He kept going, with a strength that came from somewhere deep inside him. I have never seen resilience like it. And I see that same courage in Darren. The bravery to show up, to open his heart, and to be there when it mattered most. Darren, I am so proud of you. Hans, I know you were proud of him too. Being with him in his final hours, holding him with Darren, is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. It was a privilege to be there, and to see how much love was in that room. I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to Martin and Janine. You cared for Hans with so much love and dedication. You were there for him day after day, and you gave him comfort, dignity and family. Thank you for everything you did for him. We will never forget it. Hans, thank you for your courage, and for the beautiful family you leave behind. I will always remember those blue eyes. Rest peacefully. You will be remembered with so much love.
