Passed peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, with his family by his side. Stew fought a long, hard fight with humour and determination, as we knew he would.
Cherished husband of Karen, dearly loved Dad and Dad-in-law of Bridget and Andrew Harris, Siobhan and Mathew Cochrane, and Catriona*, wonderful and dearly loved Granddad (Dugga) of Rose Harris, and Alexander Cochrane, beloved brother of Maureen*, John (Jimmy)*, Shirley, Eileen, Sandra, Raymond, Margaret*, and Jude. (*denotes deceased).
A celebration of Stew's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11:00am on Thursday, October 9, the funeral then leaving for Dunedin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Kidney Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 11 Harcourt Street, Belleknowes, Dunedin 9011, or below where a livestream of the service may also be viewed.
