Peacefully on July 22, 2024 with family by his side; aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband to his Juney-girl (June), much loved father and father-in-law of Helen and Bill Henderson, Juliet and John Fitzgerald, Martin and Bridgette McAtamney, Michelle and Mike Turfus, Cherish grandad to Stuart and Amy, and Philip and Kate, Scott and Anna, Hannah and Simon, Abby and Norton; Ellen and Grant, Hamish and Tandia, and Tess and Snow; Abigail, great-grandad of Bentley, Scarlett, Louie, and Cleo; Evie, and Alfie; Henry, Wilfred, Morris; Patrick, Molly; and Bonnie. Thank you to the staff at the grange for their love and care.
A service for Jim will be held in The Grange, "The Mains" 19 Clachan Grange Road, at 11am on Friday, July 26, the funeral then leaving for Dunedin Cemetery 133 Emersons Street, Concord. Messages to 13A Jellicoe Crescent, Kaikorai 9010. "The last hurdle has been jumped"
