On June 28, 2026, at the Otago Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family; aged 74 years.  Much loved and loving husband of Sheryl, devoted and unwavering Dad and father-in-law to Rachael and Norm, Rebecca and Matt; dearly loved Poppa and best mate of Ethan. Long time friend of John and the late Cheryle Sizemore.
