PARATA, Richard Hoani: MBE, Major (Ret), 481297, The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment)
Peacefully at home in Karitane on June 10, 2025; aged 78 years. Loved husband of the late Gillian, dearly loved father of Amy, stepfather of Tim, and grandfather of Teddy. Son of the late Hoani and Margaret Parata, brother to the late Anthony, Penelope, and Nicholas.
-- A service to celebrate Richard's life will be held in the Puketeraki Marae, 520 Apes Road, Karitane at 10.30am on Monday June 16 2025
