Unexpectedly, on August 11, 2025; aged 18 years. Dearly loved son of Malcolm, and Jane, and to Christine, and Mark. Loved brother of Jake and Megan, Max and Lorena, Keegan and Chelsea, and Fergus and Maddie, loved step-brother of Alex, Chloe, Jack; and Rosa, loved grandson to Arnold and the late Yvonne, Peter and the late Claire, loved uncle to Oakley, Remi; and Cooper. Kees is loved by his many uncles, aunties, cousins, and great friends.
- A celebration of Kees' life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2:30pm, on Monday, August 18, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left on Kees' page at below, where there is a link to livestream the service.
