SMITH, James Reid (Jim, of Sawyers Bay).  On August 28, 2025, unexpectedly, in Dunedin Hospital. 
Beloved husband and soul mate of Lynda, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Tania and Greg, Petrina, Kelly and John, Glen* and Shannon*, dearly loved Granddad to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren (* denotes deceased).
Jim was loved and will be missed by his extended family and friends. 

In keeping with Jim's wishes, a private family gathering with be held. 
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and details will be notified.
