- A Memorial Service for Doug will be held at The Orokonui Ecosanctuary, Blueskin Road, Waitati at 5pm on Saturday October 17. Donations to Orokonui would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages can be left below.

To the Family We were very sorry to learn that Doug had died and I know he has been a significant part of all of your lives. The " Foreign Legion" was a special group of friends who never lost touch and Doug of course was an integral member. I was sorry not to be able to join you at Orokonui but I'm sure you shared lots of treasured memories. Take care of each other Wendy and Hank Lockhart
